Ordered the LG on 3 on Sunday. Just one phone and it arrived yesterday.
They charged £15 to my credit card on 25/7.
They charged another £15 to my credit card on 27/7 (yes, I have checked this
is not a refund).
They also acknowledged my purchase twice on Sunday with two identical
e--mails.
Think i am going to have problems getting this £30 back.

They have taken two payments of £15 from me too.
Let me know if you get anywhere with them and I'll do the same. I haven't
been able to contact them by phone yet - it just ring and rings.

Doesn't bode well for the cashback, does it!

There may be a problem with duplicate debits but they do say that they
debit your card with a £15 "deposit" in their faqs.
"All contract orders are subject to a £15 refundable deposit being
taken. This deposit is refunded once your phone has been connected to
the relevant network."
Once you've connected, wait and see if both debits are refunded - if
not, maybe then is the time to raise the issue.

Not very convenient if your cards nearly at it's limit and they send you
over. Who is going to pay the credit card charge for being over?

Fair point - if a single payment takes you over that would be your
problem (as they do state that's what will happen on their website and,
to be fair, a lot of retailers do something similar for contract
phones). However, if a duplicate payment takes you over your limit I
would definitely chase the errant retailer for the costs involved.

You need to contact your bank or card company and tell them that it's a
duplicate transaction, they'll normally have one of them refunded in no
time at all.

Good luck, incompetant isn't the word to describe them.
I received my phone, but no SIM card. So I've got a SIM free U8110
from them for free by the looks of things. Because they certainly
aren't interested in answering the phone to me (after being on
hold/trying to call them for 3+ hours over the last 2 days - and my
phone bills will prove this).
So unless they respond to my fax and send me a SIM card within the
next 7 days, then I will consider the SIM free phone mine, and reject
any attempts of theirs to recover any charges they feel they are due.

Good on ya! That's exactly what I'd do as well, between p4u and "3"
something had to go wrong somewhere didn't it?
