Hi All,

A non tekky older mate has just bought a Garmin Navtalk and would like
to transfer his phonebook (and texts he said) from the 6310 to the
Garmin?

Is there an easy SIM based way of doing this (I don't know if the Nock
holds then in the phone, sim or both) do you know please or could /
would you have to use a PC as a staging point? (there's not much
chance of him doing it with the SIM and zero if his PC has to be
involved so guess who is going to have to do it ..) ;-(

All the best ..

ebuyer.com sell SIM card readers that plug into the USB port including
software approx £7-£10
I've not used one yet so I've no idea if they're any good.

I bought an ebuyer SIM reader about a year ago, and it's fine, once you've
worked out how to use it, the instructions are the usual Far Eastern
unintelligible garbage.
I say it's fine, but it won't work on a new BT-Mobile SIM I have, just
doesn't seem to see it, but all other SIMs are fine.
Anyone know why my BT SIM won't play ball? Has the spec. for SIMs changed
maybe?
