I did, and got an unhelpful reply:
Dear Peter,
Please contact your dealer to buy a car charger.
Please do not use Nokia car charger or other car charger to charge your
headset, as it may damage it.
Thanks & regards

It seems like a good enough reply to me. You asked a question, they gave
the answer and suggested a further course of action to solve your
problem.

Not to the detailed question I asked (sorry, I should have posted it in
full):
I have just purchased a BT20S and want to use a car charger cable. Please
can you advise the power requirements and whether the car chargers for
mobile phones are suitable e.g. Nokia 6310i.
I wanted to know what car charger power ratings were required so I could
make my own mind up.
Thanks to http://www.mobileshop.org for the info I wanted.

I've always used a Nokia charger to charge mine. The charger that came
with the headset has only been used to charge my bluetooth GPS.
