V635 cant make/receive calls whilst charging

I got my Motorola V635 from o2 last week and have just discovered an
annoying problem, i am unable to make, receive calls or text messages while
the phone is on charge.

surely this cant be right, anyone else had this problem?

Mine works fine when its charging...

Is this while charging with its original charger or with a car charger?

I got the same thing with a 600 in the car. Origine was a "will-fit" car
charger, should have bought an original motorola I guess...
