Hi

Just bought second hand Nokia 8310.
Works fine but after inserting T-mobile sim card
shows One 2 One on display instead of  T-mobile.
Orange and Vodafone sim cards - networks are shown correctly.

Help greatly appreciated

The network list is built into the handset when it is manufactured. The
network list was made when T-Mobile were One2One, therefore the network list
in the handset is out of date.

There are 2 ways round this
1) Take the phone to a nokia service centre and pay for a software upgrade
2) download an operator logo which says T-Mobile, to the handset.

But on a CPHS handset the Sims Logo overides in the phones,
unless CSP has been overid

Get a copy of logomanager and a datalead, or IrDa connection,
and hold down Ctrl Alt S to switch the phones CSP

Although it does sound like it has early firmware with old network lists,
and could also do with a reflash.

T-Mobile is one2one.

it is showing the right network, one2one turned into t-mobile. The phone
is old so its operator list recognises the network as one2one as
t-mobile didn't exist when the phone was made. It should cause no problems.
