No, at least not one that gives working access to eBay.

The eBay wap service used to be excellent until about 3 years ago - full
search functionality and even the ability to log in to your own account and
bid. For reasons that aren't completely clear the wap service broke and was
never fixed. eBay initially responded to technical support queries with
confirmation that there was a "technical problem" - it was never fixed and
it's been suggested that there were security concerns about wap access.

It may be possible to use eBay via modern phone HTML compatible browsers and
the standard URL of http://www.ebay.co.uk I think that the use of
traditional wap markup language is now more or less absolute as a mass
market service proposition - few new services have appeared in the last year
or so and a number of genuinely good services, including eBay and AA
Roadwatch, have disappeared.

Yes it's a real shame that more wap sites are not supported.
Every year web sites get bigger and bloatier (Google is the exception).

I can browse ebay.co.uk using my Treo 600 or 650, but it's not the most
efficient way as most ebay pages are quite big, even with images turned off!
There are too many non-essential bits and adverts nowadays on a lot of web
sites.

If the wap site was available I could do everything 10 times faster.

eBay used to support wap, and it looks like they'll start doing so
again. Unfortunately, the new service looks like it will force you to
sign up for a text messaging option, which would charge you for
receiving alerts on items you're watching, etc. If it allows you to
customise the service, so you don't have to receive the text alerts,
then that would be OK. (If you have orange.net, for example, you'll get
the email text alerts anyway.)
