After a couple of weeks of playing, these are the points I'm stuck on...

1) Having moved messaging to the memory card, I find myself wanting to move
it back to the phone, but cannot find a way to copy current messages back to
the phone. Can this be done?

2) Can I move applications from phone to card and vice versa? E.g. the
orange apps guide/backup/downloads will only install to the phone, and I'd
rather put them on the card.

Basically I want to leave messaging on the phone but all have all apps and
media on the card. The phone browser for the pc doesn't show you the
location of everything on the phone

3) I've found .sis files on various wap pages using the phone browser, but
clicking on the links always seems to open the file up in a notepad - I
can't find any way to save the file or run it. Any ideas?

Hi, I have a 6680, and from memory:

1) Messages > Settings > Other > Memory in use > change to phone from
memory card, should sort out the location of your messages. I've not
tried it, but doesn't this take the messages back onto the phone when
you change the settings?

2) No you can't (well not easily anyway). You have to select "Memory
card" during the installation. There is an app called something like
"Sis builder" that can reassemble a sis installation file, so I guess
you could reassemble the app into a sis file delete it from phone
memory and install onto the card? May be worth a try I guess.

3) Mine installs sis files from t'internet fine. Only files it opens in
the notepad are ones that are compressed sis files or something (i.e.
zipped up), as it doesn't know how to handle zip files (or anything
other than the sis files), so check that they are actually sis files
being downloaded.
