I'm about to go on holiday to India next week and I was wondering
whether there's another/cheaper method making mobile phone call whilst
there? I've heard that it's possible to purchase some kind of SIM card
there that will allow me to make cheaper calls inside India and back
home to the UK? If anyone knows anything more about this, or some other
method, I'd be grateful for the advise.

Many thanks.

I'll be traveling to Delhi, Agra, and Punjab (Amritsar and the Wagha
border). Any recommendations of which SIM cards are the best?

Thanks. That's the SIM I've been advised to get by another mate. I'll
go for it and report back on how I get on.

Thanks to everyone for their help.

Orange are in India. Buy a local simcard while you are there. The
prices are MUCH cheaper.
