I'm well over due ditching my UK contract and taking out a new one in
NL, so I was just doing some research.
Currently I'm a K700i user and love it, so would go for a K750i without
any concern - although I know that handset has been around a while now.
Anyone know if there is a replacement due soon?
I note the M600i looks pretty tasty, the lack of camera being the only
obvious error on SE's part, but I usually carry my Ixus anyway, so it's
no real hardship.

Just to let you know 2 of the 4 people I know with K750i's have been sent
back due to the joystick malfunctioning, they are both heavy users.

Just done the same myself yesterday after 4 months; better get a damn

The successor to the K750, dubbed the K800 at the moment, should b
announced in the very near future. In the meantime 'here
(http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=2642&hl=) is som
information on it. Note that the handset was codenamed Wilma althoug
this seems to have changed to Evita

It's batently made-up; you wont find it mentioned on the SE website, and bet
you any money it never existed in the first place. Hence the sh.t blurry
pics.

How very cynical of you. Actually after some further invetigation i
appears that Wilma and Evita are seperate handsets. Wilma is the K800
and Evita appears to be the K790, both of which will be announce
tomorrow.
The K800i will be UMTS handset, whilst it looks like the K790 will b
a non-UMTS version of the K800i. 'Here
(http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=2965) is a picture of th
K800i. What those earlier blurred pictures are we are not sure, but a
the time the general consensus was that they were of Wilma
Unfortunately that's the world of SE rumours for you, things tend to b
somewhat confused at points and information can change overnight.
Incidentally you are clearly unfamiliar with Sony Ericsson if yo
think that they post information about unannounced handsets on thei
website

The blurry pictures posted don't resemble any of the handsets you've
mentioned... I'm not having a go at you, just don't get too excited about
things posted on random forums!
