Hi,earlier today I received a text purporting to be from Vodafone
telling me that I would receive "new settings" and giving me a PIN, sure
enough a little later another text that said something like "New
Settings, Install?" which I declined. Anybody throw any light on this?

Do you have an MMS capable phone with MMS active on your account, but
never use MMS?  Maybe Vodafone assume that you do not have the correct
settings so have sent them to you.
