Just found out that there is a new update (1.2) which supercedes the
current 1.15.

Any suggestions as to what this actually improves? Apart from the
'overall user experience', I mean....

For example, will it stop the feckin' thing crashing?

It dramatically improves voice quality, adds some service providers to
the email app and add s small enhancements to the SMS app.

Too early to tell if its habit of crashing has been fixed.
