I am keen to take advantage of Orange's PAYG GPRS data service on my
laptop (the £1/day Orange World "Extra"). I suspect the most reliable
/ consistent method of accessing GPRS via my laptop is using a
dedicated GPRS data card.
Anyone know the cheapest (or best) data card to get. FWIW I have a
recent Dell D600 laptop with a PC Card slot. I was hoping there would
be a few bargains as places dump stock of non-3G cards, but the
cheapest I can find is a Sony Ericsson GC79 for under £50!
Is it possible for the operator to have sim locked a data card, and if
so how difficult are they to unlock.
Any personal recommendations or ones to avoid would be appeciated.
Kind regards - Rufus.

I just got a New Vodafone 3G/GPRS card from eBay for £40. Works with my O2
sim no problem (with a minimal amount of manual configueration).
