Hi, is it possable to setup a Gmail account on my SE K700i ? If so, how?

I have the settings, but it requires SSL...

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL: pop.googlemail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.googlemail.com (use
authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587
Account Name:  your Google Mail username (including '@googlemail.com')
Email Address:  your full Google Mail email address
(username@googlemail.com)
Password:  your Google Mail password

It is possible to set up Gmail for pop access but, unfortunately, not for
sending using the K700i. It isn't a straightforward process either and
involves installing new cer files on the K700i.

The K750 can be made to receive and *send* emails using the Gmail servers by
installing a new certificate (the equifax.cer and possibly the
thawtepremium.cer files). Unfortunately whilst the same process can be used
to allow the K700i to *receive* from Gmail it doesn't allow the K700i to
*send* using Gmail. The reasons for this aren't actually clear because it
should work - it just doesn't. For what it's worth though some K750 owners
have reported the same problem - so by the same token maybe some K700i
owners may have success with sending using Gmail (? maybe success is
firmware dependent).

For dull details have a look at the following thread (if you have time)
where you will eventually find full instructions:

Tip: if you don't have a data cable you can send the cer files via infrared
to your K700i using a Nokia phone which has downloaded the cer files from a
wap/web site (for some reason the K700i and K750 read the cer files as text
files meaning that you can't download the files from a web/wap site directly
using the K700i/K750).
