Samsung e530 default pin

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sarah has a Samsung E530 and I tried to install the wap settings but it asks
for the pin. Alas Sarah doesn't know, what is the default or how do you
change it ??

I know that this sounds obvious but if I were you I would read the
phones manual and then also check the written information (if any)
supplied with you SIM card, as if you enter the wrong code *3* times,
then will have to contact the network provider, to get a PUK code!

Gaz, it's not the PIN for the phone I don't think, it's the PIN for the
settings.

Best to check with the Network/Service provider.

It is the PIN for the settings that I think you need, as opposed to the PIN
for the handset.

For Samsungs try:

1234 or 000000 (handset pins)

I have just dug out the manual for my Samsung E720 and from that the
the default password/phone lock code is preset to:

00000000

I have also looked for the default PIN/PIN2 and although there are
references to the "PIN/PIN2" there is no reference to a default
setting or a preset default PIN number.

So with that in mind and if my memory serves me correctly I think that
the PIN/PIN2 default PIN numbers are preset via your chosen network,
so you should have got them with your SIM card, although I know for a
fcat that when I got a new contract phone on O2 the shop told me what
they *thought* the PIN number was, I went to play with the phone the
night I bought it tried the given PIN number and got locked out, so
again my advice would be to contact your Network provider or read any
info, that came with the phone/SIM card.

Best Wishes to one & all!
