Virgin 'free texts' message

Received an SMS from Virgin saying that Virgin-to-Virgin texts will be FOC
until September 2006. Limit is 1000 a month.

Anyone else receive this?

Yep, received that too. It only starts on the 28th of April tough. And it
runs until the 30th of Sep.

Yes, think this is in response to easyMobiles new 1p per text same
network rate.

Yup got it too.  Rang the number at the end of the txt but didn't get
an answer.  Rang Virgin (789), confirmed it, they're doing it just for
the summer.

It's confirmed then - text messaging does result in a drop in standards of
English.

Urm! The original message in this thread was dated 3rd April 2006,
which was when they had their last SMS offer IARC.
