Best replacement for a 9500 or stick with 9500 ???

I have a Nokia 9500 which I have had for over a year and due a free upgrade
on T-mobile (we have 4 phones all due for upgrades) The 9500 has been
trouble free and probably the best phone I have ever had for what I need,
which is to be able to do e-mails on the move ETC. I somehow got talked in
to a MDA pro which I have 4 days left to talk it back if I don't want it.

I have about 20/30 calls a day and the MDA is no good for receiving calls as
you seem to have to open the thing up every time to answer it. Also the MDA
takes ages to do texting ETC where as the 9500 is dead easy.

What I need is a phone to do the following,

Easy to use answering calls I.E. 1 button.

Bluetooth, GPRS ETC

Good for e-mailing (text only) need to open up like on the 9500 download
e-mails and reply. So easy on 9500.

Don't need to surf internet.

Must have QWERTY keyboard

No bigger than a 9500 (I know that's an easy one)

Need a camera, video not too important.

The more I look the more I think the 9500 is still the one (apart from its
looks when closed) I have a new unused 9500 in a box, may be I should stick
with that.

Or is there something better out there ????

You can take calls with it closed, just press the answer button on the
spine of the hinge.

Ages to text? You must be doing something wrong.

All phones have this.

And on your Pro. You just need to learn how to use it properly by the
sound of things. I don't mean that in a patronising way but you seem to
be missing some obvious stuff.

I know what you mean when you get a new phone trying to get used to it but I
have spent 3 days with it, just don't like the feel of it and its too big
for what I need. I am sure the Pro is great and some of the features are
really good if you want to go on line or need G3 but I don't, just need
e-mail and QWERTY keyboard. Might wait for Sony Ericsson 990.

I recently went on the Nokia press trip (where they launched the N72,
N73 and N93) and was told that there will be some killer stuff coming
in the summer on the business side.

I couldn't find out if it was a new Communicator or a replacement to
the nice, but too slow, 770 Internet Tablet.

Assuming you can hold off for a while, I'd wait and see what comes. The
9300i is an obvious stop-gap, so there must be something all-new to
come. All of the Communicators are way too slow, so if they can speed
things up and include 3G, HSDPA and so on, it will be very attractive.

The P990i is another good option, but feels a bit big - especially
alongside the M600i and W950i (although these aren't serious
alternatives to a 9500).
