Hi, O2 are saying for £35 per month I can get 750 minutes and 750 text
messages on an 18-month contract plus new phone (even Nokia N80)...,
surely this is too good to be ture?
I'm on Orange 900 minutes for £75, not sure about text messages, but
my monthly bills are £90-£100 approx.
Good luck!

Is this an O2 shop or O2 online? I take it the N80 was free?

When you say on-line..., you mean getting the phone number from their
website and ringing them up as opposed to walking into a shop, then
yes!
Choice of free phone would be part of the deal, but if I want Nokia N80
specifically, they told me to ring back on Monday. When I asked about
SE P990i, the bloke on th phone thought I was having a laugh.
Good luck!

Seems to be a genuine report of an offer by O2.
see thread "O2 Online 1000 minutes any network any time plus 150 SMS for £35
/ month 18 month contract"
for a discussion about how genuine the offer is.
FWIW I would try and get Orange to match it (OVP?) and avoid a lot of
hassle.
