Anyone know anything more about this?

Apparently they will have unlimited texts or landline minutes depending
on which tariff is selected.

It means unlimited until they decide you've had enough.

Orange claim otherwise.  Whether you believe them is an entirely
different matter.

Nothing of what they are offering are tempting me to stay, never mind
sign a 18 month contract.

It's not going to be the Oxford English Dictionary definition of
unlimited, but it will be generous enough to feel like unlimited to
99.9% of users :-)

Apparently not if the The Register's article Paul G mentioned
<http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/07/31/orange_tariff_changes/> is
correct.

These are relatively high-price tariffs.  And how much texting,
chatting, and surfing can one person do?  Presumably the small print
will prevent customers from using a Dolphin account to offer a web-based
SMS services, for example.
