K800i voice dialling?

I've had a k800i for a couple of weeks now and appart from the lens cover
feeling like it is about to drop off I'm very happy with it.

My number ported over yesterday from Orange so I spent last night attempting
to set the thing up properly.

All works fine except voice dialling which seems erratic at best. Recording
a voice tag via my bluetooth headset (generic 'orange' branded one) fails
with a message along the lines of "try somewhere quieter" and I've not managed
to get it to recognise a voice tag at all yet!

It all works fine with my nokia 6230.

Is this a known issue with SE phones? With the k800i in particular? I see
mention of big firmware upgrade soon - is this likely to work via the
live update thing (I have a tmobile k800i and they appear to have removed
the upgrade option in the menus...)

Cheers,

Darren

I had exactly the same problem with a k600i. Despite all attempts and
loads of googling - I eventually gave up.

Record the tags without using the headset.

Tried that - a little better (maybe one in ten recognised?) but still virtually
useless (and utter crap compared to my old nokia)

Oh well.
