That should be *#0000#
I've got version 5.52 which is pretty much the final, fixed firmware. There
is a version 7 but I'm not sure what it does - anybody?

Ooops. You're quite right, must remember not to post when half asleep.

Version 7.0 appears to be the final release for the 6310i. Any versions
lower than 5.51 should be upgraded if you're planning to use BlueTooth, but
as far as I can tell, there appear to be very few differences beyond that
point.

I have two 6310i's in daily use, one has 5.50 and one has 5.51, I can't
remember which is which without looking but both have no problems using a
CK-1W car kit.

From what I remember (and it's some time ago now), many of the BlueTooth
problems were security based. The 6310i was Nokia's development handset for
BlueTooth for a long time, but that mantle appears to have been passed to
the 6230 now.

I have 5.60, which was released to fix a security hole in the Bluetooth
implementation. I wouldn't advise using anything earlier (not if you ever
use Bluetooth, anyway).

No idea ...

Daniel.
