Been given a contract-expired Nokia 6680, locked to Orange. Want to use it
with my O2 simcard. Any advice very much appreciated. Do I have to pay
Orange to do it, or are those unlocking websites any use?

Not for a 6680. You will need the original owner to call Orange to
arrange the unlock in exchange for £20.

Get the phone reflashed http://www.gsm-arena.dl.am/ using a generic version
for the 6680, flash using the nokia software updater found at the nokia
website.

LOL - yes, agreed

Will only change firmware

The ONLY ways to do 6680s are:

a) contact operator as Jon suggested
b) contact some guy (forget name) who charges a lot and does in big batches

For most people, operator is only solution for all BB5 Nokias

Dejan Kejal........ erm...... Dejan Kelaje......... erm......

Buggered if I can remember his surname, but he does (or did) work for Nokia.
I suspect that by now he's quite comfortably well off, and seems to have
little interest in the GSM market.
