Is it possible to buy PAYG sims for spanish networks here? Alternatively,
anyone know what the deal is in Spain?

What operator do you want the SIM from?
In case you have doubts, what kind of use are you going to make of your PAYG
SIM?

Voda ES/ Airel SIMS were available via the CPW web site / mail order but
I'm not sure if thats the case anymore.

All three Spanish networks offer PAYG - Vodafone has the advantage it
can be topped up with a UK voucher if need be when your back home. The
Movistar Activa card would be the one to choose if you have an need for
GSM DATA or GPRS. Both have several talk plans you can choose from
depending on what your calling pattern might be.
The Activa SIM is 60.00E with 48.00E calling credit - VODA SIMS are less
but I can't recall what I paid for mine.
Search this groups via Google for "Spain" and/or "Activa" for previous
threads and info.
