in 2000 I paid £250 for an upgrade to get a Nokia 8210 (on top of
paying for Everyday 50 for another year on contract)

everyone was like 'wow' that is so small

Look at the Nokia 1101 or whatever which costs about £20!

So a few years, down the line, I imagine that state of the art 3G
handsets will be fairly cheap.

So I guess the main selling point will be minutes/talktime/texts by all
the providers.. and with so many out there, let's hope it remains
competitive

also.. what's with all the 18 month contracts now.. 18 months seems
forever.

too many renewals at xmas - so move everyone to July to make room
for new purchases?
Just a guess like
