I need a new battery for a 3210 as the current (original) battery seems
to have developed a habit of losing all its charge in the space of a day
on standby.
Anyone used www.m-99.co.uk and have any thoughts on them?
The local orange shop want £30 for original Nokia, mobileshop.com want
£18.50, m-99 want £8.50 for a 3rd party battery.

Paul

do a search through past posts - they have few ways of getting in touch if
you have a problem,
there are plenty of other people that can do batteries for reasonable prices

Also do a search on Simon Birley and his spamming empire. I wouldn't buy
from either if I had a Schmeiser pointing at me.

I bought a couple of 3rd party batteries for an 8850 from them a
couple of years or so back. Found them fine to deal with, but the
batteries were cr*p. Stick to original Nokia

I bought a really excellent 8210 battery from them, and at the same
time, a really crappy 8110 battery.
Since then, their service has reportedly deteriorated, and their web
site has got worse, but I would buy from them again.

Have you seen the reports about Nokia's exploding with non nokia batteries:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/68/33309.html
http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/68/33305.html
http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/68/32462.html
I know that they would be more likely to blame non nokia batteries, but
still its something to think about

Another one has exploded recently - this time the battery was original.
