Probs after unlocking from Vodafone back to Virgin

I unlocked my Motorola Razr V3 from Vodafone PAYG and put in a Virgin PAYG
sim from my previous phone, a Siemens S35.  It works mostly OK sending and
receiving regular texts, but won't send or receive texts with accompanying
pics. Is this because the old phone didn't have that facility?  If so, what
can I do about it - do I have to buy a new Virgin SIM?

Also, the Motorola still boots up with the Vodafone "How are you" video and
still has the link to Vodafone Live on the skin - is there any way of
getting rid of these?  The video seems to be un-deletable.

Any advice appreciated,

Ross

Have you sent Virgin's MMS & GPRS settings from their website to the
phone? Once you have got the settings and activated them on your phone
you need to send one picture message to activate the service on your
account.

Thanks, that worked.

Any ideas how to get rid of the Vodafone welcome video and the right-hand
soft key being assigned to Vodafone Live?

They are hard-coded into the firmware. You would need to flash and flex
to get rid of that (not easy to do yourself).
