Hi!

Does anybody know if you can install applications onto samsung sgh x700
by copying the files onto the phone? If yes, please reply. I have this
phone but i surprisingly don't find any way to copy .jar/.jad files
onto my phone and install them. I did manage to copy the files onto the
phone but the execute option for the file (.jar) is disabled. HELP!

thanx!

According to the samsungmobile website..there isn't a X700.

Is it known by another name?

There is an X700, it's about the same spec as a Nokia 6230i. I don't
know the answer though I'm afraid.

I'm pretty sure you have to use a hack to do this; a specific (possible
DOS-based) applicationt that allows you to modify the internal file
structure of the phone.

What it's called, and how it's done, surpasses me, as I don't give a
monkeys, never had a Samsung for long enough.
