I have an "old" N70 and a lot of sms under "my folders", and wonder how I
can copy these messages over to my new N73?
I also wonder if it is possible to copy notepad-files from the pc into Nokia
N73, and read them as text files? Any good ideas?

The in-built transfer application, perhaps?

Use Nokia Lifeblog to sort your texts out, I had to pay for the bloody thing
with my 6680, now i've got it free with my N73 bloody stupid.
www.nokia.com/lifeblog might have to download the trial of the first one
then install the lifeblog 2.0 to copy them back onto your N73. But it will
advise you which one you need for the N70.

Make sure you install Nokia PC Suite its an excellent piece of software,
then use the included USB cable to copy any text files to your N73, Word,
Excel, Powerpoint, jpegs, Wav's, 3gps, mp4, mp3 the lot.

I had an N70 I wished to send my txt's over to my new 6233. PC suite doesnt
/ can't (I think the PC suite is dire btw) and tried the inbuilt Transfer
also- that wouldnt work.

Next tried the Lifeblog but that seemingly coudlnt convert between the N70
and the 6233.

*despair*

The long and short of it was... I failed.
