Can the 6680 be unlocked from 3 yet? i was given one today, but as per subj,
its locked.

Yes, but you have to go through 3 to get the unlock code, which may be
a problem if you've been given the phone and aren't the registered
owner (as far as 3 are concerned).

Three will unlock them providing the request is made by the original
owner. The out of contract charge seems to be £15
