Anyone ther know how to find the siemens secret code on the screen full
of data you see when you enter *#0606# its meant to be a 8 fig number
but blowed if i can find it...a50, a55, sl45

*#06# on any GSM phone will show its 15-digit IMEI number

The poster's after some secret code that can be used to derive an unlock
code. I can't remember the code sonny-jim, sorry. Have a wee google groups
search, may turn out good.

Certainly the A50 (and I think the A55) cannot be unlocked from the
keypad - it requires quite a bit of work.

On my wife's A50, *#0606# does nothing.

Extneded info for a Siemens (RIP) is *#0606# with no SIM inserted.
