Hello, I'm trying to use a new Orange PAYG SIM in my MDA Vario / SPVM3100 PDA. The GPRS Settings I have entered are: APN address: orangeinternet Username: [blank] Password [blank] HTTP Proxy: 192.168.071.035:8080 WAP Proxy: 192.168.071.035:9201 I can connect to GPRS, however, when I browse the internet, e.g. http://wap.orange.co.uk I get a "Page Not Found" error, which looks like a DNS problem. For refrence the PDA I have is marketed by T-Mobile as the MDA Vario, by Or as the XDA Mini S and also as the iMate K-Jam, and it's still offline with Orange... David OK, it's working for interenet and POP3 email, seamlessly roaming between WiFi & GPRS, with WiFi preferred For refrence, the GPRS settings I used were: Access point name field: orangeinternet Username: orange Password: orange As sugested no proxy address was required David |
