T610 Data Cable

Hi

Has anyone got any tips on how to get a T610 serial cable to work?

All software loaded, com port selected but I get no response at all.
Tried on several PC's now and getting p****d off!

Do I have to change a phone setting?

Any help appreciated.

Got mine going a long time ago under XP Pro with SP! after a lot of
buggering about.

I seem to remember I had to force the software to use and reserve the
COM port the cables plugged into and ignore all the other. If you have
no other serial cables plugged into your PC it'll almost certainly be
COM1

Look for a program called 'sendfile', theres a link somewhere on the sony
ericsson website.
