Hi,

I have just contacted T mobile for the PUK for a Motorola C350, this I put
into the phone and all seemed to be ok
Now when I put my Orange sim card in I get the message about putting in a
"subsidiary password"
anybody know what this might be ?

                            any help greatly appreciated

It the uunlock code and different for ever phone. You will need to pay
Orange or an unlocker for it.

There's no such thing as "the PUK for a Motorola C350" - the PUK refers
to the SIM and would be the same for that SIM in any handset.  Entering
the PUK will unlock the SIM if you got the SIM PIN wrong three times -
it will not in any way unlock the handset. If your handset was locked to
T it'll still be locked to T.

Subsidy Password. It's because the handset is locked to T-Mobile. Pay them
for the code, or pay an unlocker like myself slightly less for it.

You are confusing your codes. The PUK is associated with the sim card,
not the handset.

The handset is locked to t-mobile, so when you put in an Orange sim
card, it is asking you for the special code that removes the sp lock.
This code you can get from t-mobile, possibly for a fee.

Alternatively an unlocker may be able to unlock it for you.

See http://www.mobileshop.org/security/passwords.htm for more
information about what all the passwoprds and codes are about.
