Was looking at the Three mobile network, as there are a couple of cheap
phones going on the PAYG service.
However one part I read top-ups only last for 30 days, any credit not
used up within 30 days is lost, another part I read there is no expiry
date.
I have a easyMobile number I want to port, and thought about Three,
anyone know how long top-ups actually last? Can I just top up with £10
and leave it there for 3, 6, 12 months for example?

From the info on the 3 website it seems pretty simple. There are two types
of top-up.
Cash Credit with no expiry date.
Talk and Text (requires at least £25 top-up) with 30 day validity. Talk and
text gives you mins and texts much like a contract would, so must be used
within 30 days.
