Could anyone recommend a phone with a fairly large font on the text
input / reading screen?

Currently using an SPV C500 which I find fine, but ti is getting old and
will need replacing.

Have tried a Nokia E70 and a Sony W810i.  Both phones have decent
displays, except for the text screen!

Quite like the smart phone type of phones, would need a camera and if
the phone had picture caller ID then this would be the perfect phone for
me.

Thanks you

The SOny K800i and any of the latest samsung range have massive font
size when entering numbers, this obviously reduced when inputting large
amounts of text but is generally very visible.

Not too sure myself, SMS messages and the like have really small text. I
couldn't find a setting anywhere, unlike on most phones, to change this
text-size, then realised SE weren't too interested in those of us with
rubbish eyes.
