Hi All,

Can somebody give me some pointers on transferring my text messages
from my old Nokia 6100 to my new W800i?  I assume that the messages are
stored on the phone rather than the SIM?

Any help greatfully appreciated!!!

Thanks.

Dave.

Have you tried Nokia's very own PC-Suite yet?

Different formats; you'll be lucky. I don't know what "mobile floats agent"
uses to copy the files over, but have a search for it in google, it's pretty
good for sony ercisson phones. Otherwise, I'm afraid someone else here will
have to come to your rescue.

I use LogoManager to do some of these things.

LogoManager can do that, assuming both phones are compatible with it.
I use LogoManager Pro Suite, which includes the contacts/sms manager and
MobiMB, the media manager (for tones, wallpaper, java apps, etc).

If you drop a mail to their support link, they'll be able to advise on
whether it can do everything you need.

Not on it's own it doesn't, but there's a cheapo bluetooth official Nokia
hardware-add-on you can buy.

I didn't believe it either until I checked it out... Dunno if you can then
enable the phone to use it for everything you could with a newer bluetooth
mobile, as 'send via bluetooth' isn't in the integrated 6100 menu by
default, as it doesn't by default have bluetooth.

If You mean the Nokia AD-5B I think you will find it is only for audio.
