I am winning in a battle with O2 to cancel my contract half way
through. I would like to go on T-Mobile's unlimited Web and Walk tariff
at £7.50 extra per month.

I am thinking of having the same phone again (SE K800i). Does anyone
know some of the answers to some questions?

Can I access unlimited Internet using a high speed 3G Connection?
I use the inbuilt Pop3 email on my phone, Can I use this on T-mobile
unlimited internet?
I use Google Maps, UltraIMPro, Gmail applications which use Internet
connection. Is this included?

I have tried talking to T-mobile, but I think I confused the
saleswomen, she said to access email, this needs to be done through the
T-Mobile homepage. I was thinking more specifically, the inbuilt pop3
email program in the phone. When I talked about the applications above,
I was advised to get this, I may need to upgrade to a higher Internet
tariff. This may have been confused with the PCMCIA Internet laptop
card.

Until, now, I was sure I could use Internet applications on the
unlimited Internet.

Grateful if you could clarify.

Also just to mention, does video streaming also come unlimited? and
does anyone have any links? - I cant remember the link of the company
which provides TV Streams for a small price something like £2 per
month?

You can access unlimited internet using a 3G connection. However, if
you regularly transfer over 1Gb of data in a month your service may be
restricted.
You can use the POP3 email client as part of your Web'n'Walk use.
The Web'n'Walk option is designed for web browsing and email only so
using applications which access the internet will contravene the
fair-use policy. Our Web'n'Walk Plus option allows internet
applications. Also, the applications you want to use may not be
compatible with a k800i.

try the K800i for a while, the applications in question no doubt;
compatible. I have been using about 10mbs of usage per month with O2,
but usually try to restrict myself further due to the cost.

It is not uncommon for non-technical users to use Internet through
applications; Sony Ericsson "Photo Mate" application which comes
installed on the phone, easily directs users to download extra modules.
I would have been surprised T-Mobile would restrict this feature on the
Web and Walk Tariff?
Is it applications which contravene the fair usage policy, or is
heavily using applications/abusing the system. If it is the former, is
the mobile Internet browser itself or the Pop3 email in anyway
technically not an application? If this is correct, please could you
advise how much the web'n'walk plus cost and what is included.
Technically, one could argue that applications such as UltraIMPro, use
up less data than surfing, as only text is transferred, rather than web
pages, pictures etc.
How are services restricted? Are they restricted by port?: As long as
Internet comes through port 80 and 25 (Port 80 being used for Internet,
port 25, common port used for email) Or controlled through the amount
of usage used?

Can anyone help me with my technical questions or could comment?
