But that's the thing, they're ALL faulty on orange, they begger up the
software, changing the N95 to another with same software wont help
that. (I'm sure Orange would prefer to call the problems FEATURES
rather than faults)

Well the following FEATURES have not worked on the BIL's array of N95's:
WLAN connection - NO CONNECTION
Bluetooth not working
GPS not working
The ability to stay powered ON for a duration of time
Sound not working
Video Camera not working
Slider Malfunctioning
Note: The above features weren't on one phone, but a sample of the non
working features on four seperate N95's.
Just small features that don't stop you from enjoying the beauty of the N95?
God and I moan my N73 is slow opening the menu folders sometimes!

Nokia do that.

I've sold about 30 and had one back. That's not a bad failure rate for a
new N-series Nokia.

Well put the generic Nokia software on. I've had an N95 from Orange for
about a month now and it was fine with 11.0.026 and is even better with
12.0.013
You just need to change the product code of the phone to get the Nokia
Software updater to put the right firmware on.
** Beware: you may turn your phone into a brick if you get this wrong **
# Visit
http://thenokiablog.com/2006/11/28/how-to-update-original-nokia-n73-firmware-to-
music-edition/
and follow the instructions at the bottom, however since the
instructions are for a different phone you need to enter a different
model number. For the N95 plum, Euro version the code is 0534841.
# Plug in the usb and power to your phone and follow the steps to
re-write the model number
# Run the nokia firmware update utility, sit back, watch the screen and
let noone touch your laptop, your phone or your cables.
# Once you're totally sure it's finished, you now have a nokia firmware
handset with normal abilities.
# Warning - if you are on Orange UK, you need to ring Orange and get
them to reset your voicemail and send a SIM update otherwise you will no
longer get voicemail notifications after doing this.
