Can any one help? I registered with sky via website and I have signed u
for "sky by mobile" via sky interactive and it shows as service in m
sky profile. I downloaded and installed application onto V3 razr. Al
OK so far. Inserted correct username and password to login to sky b
mobile. Then I get "use data network 193.195.115.48:9000" and option
are "yes, ask once" or "yes, always ask" or "no ask later" or "no
never grant access" whatever option I go for to connect I get message
"the data connection has failed, please check the network coverage" Thi
message appears even when I have full network signal. Sky telephon
support are hopeless and most telephone support personnal are not eve
aware what sky by mobile is

The Sky app is java-based. The issue you have here is that your phone
may not like giving java apps permission to access the internet.
Furthermore even if you do grant it access you must ensure that you are
using your networks full internet APN, and not just a WAP one.

If you are on PAYG then you will need sufficient credit to initiate an
internet session.

Does your phones WAP browser work OK?

Perhaps you might enjoy more success if you told us what network you
were on.

Hi Jon, network is O2 with contract. WAP browser works fine. Sk
application sits in Java applications list. Do you know what APN t
use? - O2 have no idea.

I'm not on O2 myself, but it will be described in "web sessions" and
will probably have the word "internet" or "web" in it.
