No sure if I'm in the right place but here goes:

I have bought a samsung s401i and had it unlocked to use with virgin. But I
can't for the life of me understand how to send a picture message. Read the
manual which is of no use. I'm on PAYG virgin and have the virgin settings.
But I have tried to no avail to set it up. It just keeps saying transmission
failed.

I have all this i-mode guff which has some settings in it but nothing thats
helping me send a pic message.

I asked at 02 but they refused to help me! as its not a o2 sim in the phone
even though I bought the phone from them and want help to use a handset from
them, great!

By some luck can anybody here give me a helping hand to do this ?

Thanks

1. O2 can't help you with Virgin MMS
2. Have you asked Virgin to enable MMS on your account?
3. If the settings are correct in your handset then re-read number 2.

Hi Jon,

Thanks.

Will call virgin and ask them about option 2.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was completely oblvious you have to have it
enabled by the operator, I thought you could do it straight away like
txting.
