I have just arranged a temprary disconnected my O mobile contract, which O
have kindly arranged to disconnect for 6 months.  However, I note that I am
suddenly unable to receive my Orange . net email.  Could it be that the
accounts are linked in any way.  Has anybody else suffered this problem?

Apparently they are linked. I have just taken out a new contract with orange
and want to change my orange.net email address over to my new phone number
in order to receive sms text alerts at the new number. I have just been told
that this is not possible by orange "customer service". They have told me my
email address will expire with my old telephone number. What a brilliant
concept, having to change your email address every time you change your
phone number. I'm expecting them to tell me I will have to move house next
time I take out a new contract. What a bunch of idiots.
