I doubt that. End of next week is more likely.

Is it a orange phone only?
Thanks

It's exclusive to Orange at launch, not sure if it will stay that way. You
can get SIM-free aswell I would imagine.

Expansys say they expect to have SIM free stock by the end of Oct. 2003.

The Treo 600's all left the Banbury warehouse today. They will be with
retailers nationally on Monday (13th) by the latest. Orange direct
have them in stock now, the website should update to reflect this over
the weekend. The earlier problems with IMEI matching has now been
resolved.

Cool!

Thanks for the heads-up Omar,

Ian.

I went into the Orange shop in Leadenhall Market (London) today and
they confirmed that they'd have them on Friday.  £200 with a certain
tarrif (25 quid) or above, but you can get 50 quid for your phone and
50 quid if a friend on orange refers you (they get 25 quid of talk
time) so you could get it for 100 quid with your old phone
exchanged....

Now...do I want to be an 'early adopter' ? :)

Regards,

Paul

With my (or somebody elese's) "introduce a friend" £75 voucher how can you
refuse - particularly if you change to High Speed Data plan as soon as you
get home. ;-)

Anyone else?

£50 trade-in finished on September 30th. Trade-in is now £30.

Ahem - I've been with O since 1995 and currently with 4 contract phones. Do
I assume Orange don't think I have any friends or do you have to ask for the
vouchers?

Or maybe I'm the sort of customer they don't want ;-)

Don't worry - the voucher is in the Orange brochure available
in-store.  In terms of trade-in, the brochure still says £50 for your
old phone and I couldn't see any condition about ending September
30th...mind you I did have a figure of 120 quid in my head so I'll go
in today to check.

I need to figure out if Orange is going to be cheaper now.

Have you seen the prices on www.mobileshop.com ? ;)

Yes - but they don't have stock - I spoke to them today.  They say
they should get it tomorrow when I suspect the price will get hiked :)
I'll either get it from onestopphoneshop (anyone got experience?) or
orange shop for about 100 quid hopefully.

Presumably if the customer has a recommend a friend voucher which promises
£50 talk time credit when trading in (up to 30 December 2003) the Orange
Shop will honour that?

I spoke to Orange shop today and they said they might still be able to
honour 50 quid for old phone - I'm sure its up to their discretion.
