Does anyone know whether you can use any IMAP account with the Mobile
Mail service or do you need to set up some specific account to use with
this?

How does the Mobile Mail service in X-Series differ from the E-mail
add-on they offer at £5 per month?

No difference, able to use the built-in email client to check all my email.

1GB Data Usage for all internet use.
