Porting a number to existing o2 small business contract

Please could someone confirm if you can port in a number at any
anytime, on an o2 small business contract or can it only be done upon
connection?

As far as I know it has to be done within the first month or so. I did this
in Jan but it was within the first week after connection.

I would presume in the first month, but it maybe longer
