Hi,

Am due an upgrade on 3 in the next few weeks and was wondering i
anyone has had any experience of using Skype on an N73 on 3(X-Series
and if it's any good.

Also has anyone tried using a Slingbox/Orb?

Does anyone have any ideas when the Sony Ericsson W950i will be able t
use X-Series as it was mentioned in the launch material but isn'
amongst their current offers...

Thanks for your time..

The quality is normally stunning. I've had many instances of call quality
being almost as good as a landline to landline call, instead of bad quality
GSM.

I've got a second Skype account and home, a SkypeIn number and Pretty May
(http://www.prettymay.net) for when I need to dial out to international
destinations, as Skype don't support NGN dialthrough services out of
inclusive minutes.

Thanks Anti-Spam Bloke - am getting an X-series this afternoon but a
going to delay connection for a month and just use my old sim in my ne
mobile as I'm desperately low on memory and can't be bothered to get
new memory card for a few weeks!!

For anyone else reading this;

three are much the same as any other network in only offering ne
customers the better deals (extended half-price, brand-new rather tha
refurbished handsets, etc), but you can get a new handset (though can'
retain your old number) and change your price plan and you can choose t
delay your connection by upto 30 days - allowing you to have a brie
overlap if you trade-in early and giving you plenty of time to use you
new handset while letting everyone know that your number will b
changing soon..

Not true. 10 months into her contract Three called my girlfreind and offered
a new phone and 6 months half price line rental. The phone was not a refurb.

I have also been contacted with a similar offer, but can't yet decide on a
phone.
