I have one or two which will call 0845 from a 07xxx number,
but none that will still call 0870

07744 974247 (www.deltacall.co.uk) allows you to call 0870 but only at peak
times (and 0845 at any time).

You should check what your network charges to 07744 numbers. O2, for
example, charge a premium - 35p/minute I think.
You could access the geo number of 18185 and call via there.
Charges:  5p + 6/4/2p/min

AFAIK on contract to call 07744::

O2 - 25ppm
Vodafone - ??? (website says "up to 40p/min")
Orange - inclusive minutes
T-Mobile - inclusive minutes
3 - 25ppm

I've just tried it and it allows access to 0870 at the weekend too despite
what the website says.

Calls to 0870 numbers during *weekdays* whether peak/off-peak on the
above number or any other 07744 does *not* work.
It is currently only available at weekends, to *certain* 0870 numbers,
I'm not sure why, but that's how it's working, same applies to 0845
numbers, though they *can* be called at *anytime*.
