Anyone using the TMobile HSDPA 3g usb device? Recommend it?

My usage would be mainly Cisco VPN client software from laptop to connect to
the office - does this work on the web n walk £29 tarrif?

Is it a plain vanilla connection to the internet where I can use it the same
as any other broadband connection, aside from the 3gb per month limit.?

Can't help with the hardware side but Cisco Systems VPN 4.0.2 client
works fine through an HSDPA phone on Web 'n' Walk plus (which is, I
think, effectively what you get with a data contract).

So yes, pretty much a plain vanilla connection to the internet.

Another alternative is to use an HSDPA phone (I bought a Samsung SGH-
Z560 off ebay, sold as faulty with no charger for £40 as it buzzed
constantly - the buzzing stopped once I'd charged it via the computer
using the usb cable!).

However, this option is probably only cost effective if
a) you can procure an HSDPA phone for use as a modem cheaply
b) you already have a t-mobile contract which is out of contract - I
rang up to cancel my contract and was offered u-fix for £5 instead of
£15 so by adding web'n'walk plus I get mobile internet access for just
£17.50 per month.
