Hi,

I have recently been given a company mobile, however, I have an 18 month
contract on Orange that is about to expire.
I would like to keep my private number as many people have it & also there
are times when I may not want to use the company phone, so my use will
diminish substantially.
I am happy to keep my existing handset.
Has anybody managed to negotiate a very cheap monthly rate with Orange or am
I better off converting to PAYG?
I have heard other networks will often give you a £5-£10 per month contract
just to keep you as a subscriber.
I guess my other option would be to port & go onto a heavily subsidised
contract (assuming Orange will unlock my handset)

Any experience or comments much appreciated
Thanks in advance
BD

Your quickest route is to go PAYG for a few days and then you can take
the number back to a SIM-only pay monthly tariff which start at £15 per
month and have no commitment period.

Thanks Jon,

I phoned them & they offered me the £15/month tarrif straight away.
Its 225 xnet mins, 100 txt & unlimited landline calls which is all plenty
enough for me.
Also, as you said, no tie-in.

Thanks
BD
