Motorola d520 phone unlock code

We have an old d520 as an extra phone for emergency use that my daughter
somehow managed to lock.

It's currently got an O2 simcard in and when you turn it on, it asks for a
phone unlock code (my daughter was just trying to find the keypad lock
rather than phone lock).

Tried 4 different numbers now without success but notably the phone *hasn't*
locked up totally yet.

What's the best way of sorting this?

TIA

When it says "Enter unlock code", press the left or right menu button. The
phone will now say "Change unlock code". Press OK. It will now ask for the
security code. Enter 000000 and your phones unlock code is displayed. You
can now change this if you wish.

Hope that helps,

Simon

It won't lock up.

The default code is 000000. If that doesn't work then you need to employ an
unlocker, or bin the handset.

Motorola remote unlocking - £10 (includes A920 on '3')
Now unlocking Siemens x5x (SL55, S55, A55 etc) - £10
Change 'spam' to 'jon' to email

Thanks.  Problem already sorted.  I *did* try getting the manual from the
Motorola site but for some reason they only provide the manual in Czech form
now.
