Hi, AFAIK you used to be able to get a delivery report on Orange by prefixing the message with RCT but it dosn't seem to work for me. Any ideas? I did some tests a while back, it depended on which centre one used for SMS. I think it was +447973100979 had stopped working (it certainly does not work now), but +447973100973 still did. It was, however, then possible just to turn delivery reports on. (For Orange Out Here it is necessary to use ...979 for free SMS.) It is only the 'animal' tariffs that charge for delivery reports. RCT stopped working for me many months ago although if you set your phone up for delivery reports in the messages menu that still works. If you're on contract you get charged 1p per delivery report but they are still free on PAYG > If you're on contract you get charged 1p per delivery report [...] FWIW, they're free on Orange's Virgin OVP.
