Try *0# at the beginning of the text

That's for O2

T Mobile you have to switch them on, the delivery report
menu might be missing till you get a sim update from T Mobile

Call T Mobile and ask for messaging sim updates
for your model of phone

It's in the Nokia 6070 manual, so a phone function rather than a SIM
function.

CPHS phones have functions like delivery report menu controlled
by the networks that use CSP like Orange and T Mobile.
i.e. the delivery report menu wont appear until sim updated

I take that as a phone function that can be suppressed by the network
:-) Why can't they make things simple? It's most annoying finding what
you want to do in the manual and then not finding the entry in the menu :-(

...and why is getting more difficult to find a phone to make phone calls
rather than mobile internet, photographs .....

Can your phone enable/disable them? I have always got them without
adding anything, but haven't looked to see if they can be disabled.

Just RTFMs for my phones and there is no mention of receipts in one of
them, but...

Nokia 2310: under menu/messages/message settings
Nokia 6010: under menu/messages/message settings/text messages/profiles
and each profile has its own setting.
